Dragon Nest SEA – Lv80 Majesty Skill Build (PVE/PVP) Guide by Aecius :D ~ !

majestylv80sbguidethumb
Hello everybody this is Aecius bringing you a guide to Majesty Skill Builds.
I am a Majesty from Greenwood. Been a Force User since 24 cap and changed directly to Majesty since 50 cap. PvP-ing ever since and doing some slight minor PvE from time to time in 50 and 60 cap.
This will be a quick guide for lv 80 skill builds and upon the release of Volcano Nest probably an update with an item build as well as gameplay guide (maybe) for now let’s start on this quick and simply skill guide.
Sections :
1. PvE
-PvE Recommended Overall Build
-PvE Raid Build
-PvE Personal Build
2. PvP
-PvP Ladder Build
-PvP KOF Build
-PvP 1v1/Captain Build
But first, we will have to do some mentioning of some skills that is of importance and variable opinions.
  1. Glacial Spike – Used for freezes (Used for solo-ing but for raiding with an Elestra on the team, you don’t have to use it).
  2. Force Shield – Defensive and Offensive Buff (Only when proc-ed upon getting hit).
  3. Poison Missile – Dark elemental attack with a trickling damage that’s easy to use (subjective to opinion).
  4. MP Master/Mind Conquerer – Source of Mana and Regen (whether to add or not depends on user’s type of gear and MP Consumption).
  5. Meteor Storm – Something I wont bother mentioning for the rest of the guide and I don’t want to be repetitive on saying “It sucks don’t max it”.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Section 1: PvE
Things Covered Here:
-Recommended Build
-Raid Build
-Personal Build
-Information Covering Specific Skill and reasons for SP allocation
-Other personal opinion and reasoning behind them
First starting off will be the PvE skill build that I would recommend for overall performance, basically DQs, Nest and Raids.
pve-sorceresstree
PVE – Overall

「Sorceress Tree

Lv 27 Glacial Spike – Maxed for maximum freeze chance as a core multiplier of damage. Useful in a sense that it freezes for 3 seconds and the cooldown is 5 seconds. Pretty much a solo damage booster (as long as it freezes).
Lv 25 Void Explosion – With the new changes to Void Explosion at lv 6+ and the recent change of elemental to Dark, Void Explosion becomes a more viable dps skill than before with a steady short cooldown and reliable cast time. Overall outshadows other damage sources that takes too long to cast or its cooldown is just unbearably long.

「Force User Tree

Lv 16 Gravity Ball – Good reliable dps with a short cooldown. Basically just filling up the gap between skill rotations. Be careful of casting it though, its cast time might take abit too long and it’s not animation-cancelable with blink. Although it is a decent source of dps it not worth going any higher past the peak levels though.
Lv 19 Triple Orbs – Highest damage skill in the force user tree. Each orb hits up to 8 times with the EX and there are 3 of them, making a grand total of 24 hits. Highly recommended to max this past the peak to maximize damage. The good thing too is, its blink cancelable.
Lv 1 Black Hole – Not really required. Cast time is long, damage is sorta weak even with the passive buff. Mostly added just because it’s in the Majesty side tree of the Force User tree.
Lv 1 Summon Comet – Now this is where debate comes in. Summon Comet is a good burst damage skill but it also have a very long cast time and makes you very vulnerable. If you are a very experienced Majesty you will know when to use it, but most of the time you will have to watch the boss rotations and by the time you have an opening to comet, there are better options for you to use. Very situational and would recommend not spending SP for beginners at the class.
Lv 11 Gravity Ascension – Maxing it because why not, although it’s mostly used for debuff, it doesn’t hurt to get abit of extra damage off. Not to mention the damage isn’t something that is minor. Recommended to max.
Lv 6 Teleport – Mobility Skill. Maxing it reduces cooldown. Recommend using a Heraldry plate to further decrease cooldown.
Lv 1 Void Blast – Used to fast cancel animation and stand on spot when casting Gravity Ascension. Adding it is of personal preference and its mostly for people with confidence knowing their blink will go on cooldown making the user in danger of Swipes.
Lv 4 Time Stop – Comparison to Lv 1 Time Stop (6 secs), its double the duration (12 secs). Enough to hold important mobs down especially the invulnerable ones in Black Dragon Nest Phase 1 Dragon. Although level 1 should be enough because honestly should not need more than 6 seconds, adding more than 1 level is more of a security rather than a personal preference.
Lv 3 Beyond Time – Higher the level, Longer the duration. Maxed because it is essential for self as well as team.
Lv 6 Force Shield – Personally I love this skill. It saved me once in BDN golem stage when my pc had frame lags and could not jump dodge triple stomp. It saved me upon proc-ing at first hit and the defensive buff allowed me to survive. It’s offensive buff is also quite useful in terms of extra dps. Worth maxing in my opinion.
Lv 5 Force Mirror – Main debuff for magic damage amplification. Maxing it because it’s amplification scales by the level.

「Majesty Tree

Lv 4 Steal Magic – With the Majesty buff from quite some time ago, this skill gain a dark attack buff. It scales from leveling it therefore maxing it.
Lv 11 Switch Gravity – Main damage from the Majesty class. Many are envious of this 1 hit wonder skill that can deal miraculous amounts of damage. It’s by far the strongest skill for Majesty and its definitely worth maxing.
This build should not be blindly copied as it might not suite your taste. This build just included the essentials for the Majesty class and things that should not be missed out yet could be subjective to change according to the player.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Now this is the PvE Raid Recommended build that was made solely for raiding.
Anything here that is of difference would be listed otherwise explanation is the same as above mentioned.
pve-recommended
PVE – Raid Recommended

「Sorceress Tree

Lv 1 Glacial Spike – Having an Elestra in the team, you do not need to actually have this in your skill bar. Having no SP investments so that it can go to elsewhere more important.

「Force User Tree

Lv 15 Summon Comet – Although did mention above that it is slow casting, still a decent burst skill. Especially since its AOE is quite big, it is quite useful in Golem Stage during the HP Bar Mechanic where you have to burst down the walls since its AOE is enough to hit both the first and second wall if positioned correctly.
Lv 13 Gravity Ascension – Added extra for slightly more damage.
Lv 5 Time Stop – Added extra for security for less experienced players. Likewise, would leave it at level 1 and add the SP somewhere else if possible.
Lv 1 Gravity Trap – Good for slowing the mobs in Berlin Stage and Dragon Stage 1. Useful in a sense that it gives more space for the other members to not make them panic.

「Majesty Tree

-Same built as above, no extra explanation needed-
This build is focused solely on raiding rather than solo play. Sacrificing freeze chance for extra damage as the team probably already have an Elestra that can freeze for the team already. Getting more levels in damaging skills and adding an extra Gravity Trap just to reduce the stress of the team.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Now this is my Personal Build that I am using. You can choose to follow suite but I recommend not because this build compliments my own playstyle and is more towards knowing what my team and I are capable of doing.
pve-personal
PVE – Personal
This is of my own personal preference and it’s subjected to different perspective arguments.

「Sorceress Tree

Lv 16 Poison Missile – I like this skill personally, could be from my PvP instinct of stacking all 3 pools into 1. It’s damage is not fantastic compared to other skills with the same amount of SP put into it, but it’s still extra damage and personally I love it.
Lv 1 Hammer Strike – Personally I would add this due to PvP habits as well as a next level play. Knowing the Hammer Strike actually makes you drop down faster rather than extending your air time unlike other classes, I would use Hammer strike for that sole purpose of dropping faster. Knowing the exact timing for when the mob stomps and the frame of the hit, I jump for only that period of time and instantly Hammerstrike to reduce air time to set up my combo faster. Personally I like it that way.
No levels at all in MP Mastery/Conquerer – I have tons of Intellect built on my character, Even after throwing out barrages of attacks I only run out of mana after 30 minutes plus. That’s why I have no need for these skills.

「Force User Tree

Lv 19 Gravity Ball + Lv 11 Comet vs Lv 16 Gravity Ball + Lv 15 Comet – I chose the first option simply because Gravity Ball is simply more spammable dealing more constant dps rather than the comet dealing a one-time damage every half minute or so of casting. Personally I feel it deals more damage overall as it is more reliable.
Lv 1 Time Stop – 6 Seconds is more than enough for me and my team. We do not need any extra time of holding down the mobs.

「Majesty Tree

-No Extra Comment-
Here in this build I personally use it and I optimized it for my own playstyle. More damage and a unique usage of Poison Missile. By reducing supportive skills like Time Stop I gain SP to contribute towards more damage as reducing Time Stop level does not harm the team at all.

Section 2: PvP
Things Covered Here:
-Ladder Build
-KOF Build
-1v1/Captain Mode Build
-PvP insight explanation of Super Armor and Break of Majesty
Let’s start this off now with the Ladder Build. I put this up on top because most of the readers here would want to see this first compared to the others since it is more popular.
pvp-ladder
Ladder Build

「Sorceress Tree

Lv 6 Wheeling Staff – Added to level 6 for the upgraded usage but keeping it minimum because maxing it would take way too much mana.
Lv 6 Poison Missile – Added to level 6 as well for the upgraded usage, getting the 3rd pool. Keeping it as minimal as possible as it’s the utility you want not the damage.
Lv 1 Shockwave – Highest SA breaking skill in 1 hit for the Sorceress class. Gives you space in Ladder against aggressive players. However the Super Armor itself provide can be easily broken by most classes. Recommend Lv 1 as it’s the utility you need not the damage.
Maxed out MP Mastery and Mind Conquerer – Considering the mana problems in Ladder, this is essential. Including the MP Mastery, as it increases max mp in ladder by a considerable amount.

「Force User Tree

Lv 16 Gravity Ball – Important skill for Majesty. This skill have the same SA Break as shockwave when all 3 explosions hit, not including the minor SA break from the ball transitioning. Its damage is also not something to be messed with. Every placement is important, and failure to do so might put you in a dangerous position as you lack your defensive and aggressive capabilities from that.
Lv 16 Triple Orbs – DPS, Kiting, Zoning Skill. This skill mostly used for zoning and kiting for standard Majesty can actually be used aggressively as damage. I see Majesty everywhere just throw it on the floor and run around waiting for the enemy to chase or to buy time. Although I won’t say it is wrong, I won’t say it is recommended. It has high damage and high combo potential. I recommend using it in a combo.
Lv 11 Summon Comet – High SA Break, Good Damage but a terrible cast animation. Usually the best time to use this skill is during a combo or when the enemy is locked down unable to do anything. Although it has high SA break, chances of using it and hitting a stray target in Ladder is very low. Lv 11 because it still have high amount of damage.
Lv 11 Gravity Ascension – This skill is a lockdown skill. Usually it’s left at level 1 but when the EX came it became very useful as you don’t have to just stand there and let the damage trickle while doing close to no damage. Now maxing it can fetch you a good percentage of the enemie’s health and still be able to do your usual combos. This skill breaks everything, including Iron Skin.
Lv 6 Teleport – Mobility and closing distance. This skill when levelled will lower the cooldown of the skill. It can also change direction with the movement of the mouse as the pivot of trajectory while it is moving. Good for tricking the enemy and disorientating them. Plate recommended.
Lv 5 Time Stop – You need as much disable as possible in ladder. Landing this skill is important and knowing when to use it is crucial. Gives space and allows better aggressive approach towards the enemy.
Lv 9 Time Dodge – This is your escape skill. Maxing it allows you more time to catch him after triggering the reactive defensive skill while keeping it at level 1 will at most stop the enemy enough before he can try to fight you head on again while you might be trying to cast other skills.
Lv 3 Beyond Time – If it comes to the point you need to use it, this is your get advantage skill. Everything including your passive escape skills comes off cooldown very fast. All your burst skills can be spammed here and close to no repercussions will be made.
Lv 1 Gravity Trap – Gives good amount of space, slowing fast classes if they step inside. If they step inside you will have the upper hand if you catch them, they will have difficulty trying to run out or get the head start on you. You must place it strategically though otherwise it will be a waste of mana and time.
Lv 4 Mana Surge – Maxed this for Ladder purpose as it is important to conserve as much mana as possible. Mana Surge makes it possible to launch a few more skills before you run out of mana.
Lv 5 Force Shield – Not maxed due to SP restrictions, however lv 5 should be enough since it already provides a huge amount of damage reduction as well as a decent amount of extra damage. If you feel the need to max it, reduce 1 level from Force Mirror or Mana Surge.
Lv 5 Force Mirror – Maxed because its magic resist debuff increases per level. More stable source of magic resist, thereafter increasing the amount of damage the enemy will receive. More reliable than Force Shield.
Lv 1 Ninetail Laser – Lv 1 is enough since it’s just for catching. Maxing it will not garner much extra damage and will be a waste of SP and mana. Do take note that this skill have a lot of SA break if a lot of hits gets off.

「Majesty Tree

Lv 1 Steal magic – Don’t need a higher level of this skill as it doesn’t receive the PvE buff of extra dark attack. It just increases duration of a buff stolen from an enemy per level. You also will have a hard time trying to steal variably strong spells such as Spirit Boost as Rage of the Owl have priority over it due to its higher required level to add.
Lv 11 Switch Gravity – Key spell to use. It provides the utmost highest damage in a single spell for the Majesty especially if using the extra hits from the left/right click. This skill have pretty decent SA break and when all hits land it can break almost anything as long it is within the timing.
*I also added Gravity Controller in case of Iron Skin mercenaries that already use their relieve. Gravity Controller in PvP deals extra 50% to enemies that can resist the SA break of Switch Gravity, Gravity Ascension or Black Hole. Therefore, if a mercenary is on Iron Skin and is Time Stopped, the Switch Gravity will do extra 50% damage after Iron Skin damage reduction. Any extra damage over the cost of 1 SP is welcomed.
This build focus mainly on conserving MP and trying to reduce MP cost to the best of effort. Using this build focus mainly on being aggressive and catching the enemy with your good lockdown and high SA break from your catching skills. Try not to miss any skills as in Ladder you do not have a lot to spare.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Now this one is the less complicated build where you can spend mana way more freely and compensated damage is on. The KOF Build.
pvp - KOF
PVP – KOF
Here you can see its difference from the Ladder build is not so different but a few changes. However there are some notable changes that can decide the difference between the two in terms of efficiency.

「Sorceress Tree

Lv 16 Wheeling Staff – This by far is one of the strongest damage skill to cooldown. The difference between lv 6 and lv 16 is quadruple (4 times) in terms of damage. Maxing it is highly recommended but one should not use it randomly, it makes you very vulnerable to attacks and it also have no super armor nor break. Basically, High Risk High Reward.
Lv 1 MP Mastery – Prerequisite for Mind Conqueror.
Lv 4 Mind Conqueror – Compared to the Ladder build I just left them at a good enough level for you to sustain up to 6 rounds especially with the recent KOF change of 20% MP recovery. I feel levelling it all the way to 6 is overkill and from the results of all the KOF fights I seen so far, not even Dark Summoner, the fastest mana burning class, have gone below 70% even after getting an all kill on 4-6 people. Therefore, I feel lv4 is enough. If you feel its insufficient, you can add that remaining 1 SP to make it lv 5.

「Force User Tree

Lv 6 Force Shield – Due to no SP restrictions, maxed out for efficiency and overall survivability.
Removed Mana Surge as mana is no longer a problem.

「Majesty Tree

-No Extra Comment-
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Finally this is the last build to mention, the 1v1/Captain Mode build.
PVP - 1v1.Captain Mode
The distinct difference between this build and the other two is that there is no mana regen. We also removed skills that cannot be fit into the time slot given by the game mode.

「Sorceress Tree

Lv 16 Wheeling Staff – This skill is still kept at level 16 as it is a great damage dealing skill and great at being a skill that buys time for another lockdown rotation. When you are playing a majesty, your role in captain mode is to disable and lockdown key enemy targets. That means isolating them and taking them on while the rest of your team can focus on attacking the now vulnerable captain. Although you will be called stuff like “farmer” or “-insert curse word-“, don’t be offended by them it’s just how your class plays out.
Lv 16 Poison Missile – This skill proves quite painful especially if an enemy cannot use his escape skill, he will have to face the full brunt plus any additional attacks that comes his way.
Lv 1 Shockwave – This is still used to give you space, pushing away any possible threats and giving you breathing space. Utility not damage.

「Force User Tree

Lv 16 Gravity Ball – Great skill to catch, disable, lockdown and break down the enemy. A jack of all trade skill that serves as your bread and butter in every fight. Maxed for maximum damage efficiency as it has a short cooldown of 12 secs, 9.6secs with a cooldown plate. (Highly recommended)
Lv 16 Triple Orbs – Damage and Zoning Skill. It have the potential to wipe clean most of the enemy hp as well as make a psychological barrier between you and the enemy. Whether they want to rush through and risk the damage and timing of explosion is their own choice, if they choose to do the latter you can dodge to cancel animation ASAP and proceed to try and keep him within explosion range.
Lv 1 Black Hole – Utility. It have bad damage when scaled and a relatively huge cooldown too. It however could turn tables in group matches or could serve as a psychological wall. By placing it in a strategic area it can zone out the enemy from their team for a few seconds or can force them to move to a more confine area like a corner. Enemies caught in it is also disabled if they are not able to tank it via super armor, thus making a very good choke for your team to start dishing out the AOE.
Lv 11 Summon Comet – Damage and AOE. An AOE skill that dishes out a chunk of damage and breaks almost anything but a few notable skills. Its drawback is its slow casting time but in a group fight if you are undisturbed you can send this comet from the skies and slam it down on your unsuspecting enemies in the clutter. With this your team gains a bigger advantage and thus having the fight go in your favour instead. In 1v1 situations, you can use it in conjunction with time stop or with nine tail laser as they both grant enough time for you to summon it upon the inescapable peril that is the comet.
Lv 11 Gravity Ascension – This is a must to use. It holds down a group of people and lets your team breath and slam their AOE down. It also serves as a tide turner and should be used in a group of enemies. Your allies however must be nearby otherwise the efficiency is lost as the skill have a very long cooldown.
Lv 6 Teleport – Must max skill. It serves as a mobility and escape for team fights, while it also serves as a mind game tool for one on one situation. By using this skill you can go in quickly and as long you don’t get interrupted, you can then start disabling your enemies with huge coverage and AOE. Make sure you plate it if possible. (Highly recommended)
Lv 1 Gravity Spark – Nothing much but a skill that delays the enemies standing up or use to push in a combo. It can also be used in a higher level of play by making the enemy unable to approach you for a brief moment if used at the right timing.
Lv 1 Void Wave – Standard catching skill. Decent SA break.
Lv 1 Gravity Trap – Good slow. Slows down momentum of enemy and allows you to bring the fight to your favour.
Lv 5 Time Stop – Good AOE skill that disables enemies that don’t dodge in time. Maxing it increases duration of hold as well as buying time for your team.
Lv 9 Time Dodge – Emergency escape skill. Recommended to max as it stops the enemy for a longer period of time.
Removed Beyond Time – Beyond Time has been changed recently to the same cooldown as ultimates, even with a cooldown plate it will only displace at 3min. Not to mention this skill is unaffected by Cocktail and Spirit Boost in terms of speeding up the cooldown timer.
Lv 6 Force Shield – Procing it will increase your overall survivability rate. Recommended to max such that you can last in fights longer.
Lv 1 Nine Tail Laser – I prefer keeping it at level 1 as its damage is not so high when maxed especially when its not EX. Catching skill, higher level is not required.
Lv 5 Force Mirror – Amplifies all magic damage. Useful for your team and you as all your skills is magic base except for Hammerstrike. (Wheeling Staff is Physical until it hits lv 6 at which it turns magical)

「Majesty Tree

Lv 1 Steal Magic – Slow casting and hard to steal skills you want. Steal Magic prioritise higher level requisite skill thus making the skill almost redundant since skills like “Rage of the Owl” and “Raid” are higher level requisite than other skills like Spirit Boost and Iron Skin.
Lv 11 Switch Gravity – High Burst damage skill. Used as a catching skill as well as a source of burst damage. Very easy to mind game enemies as with the EX you can control the timing to use the last hit. Using it instantly could be countered by an instant AE, or waiting too long might serve the enemy time to know you are using the last hit and dodge the last hit accordingly. Use it wisely and do not just use it only when you get the perfect set up as that is most of the time the downfall of most majesty.
