ASUS PH Skips the ZE550ML
Here’s an official update courtesy of the ASUS Philippines website — ASUS PH will be launching two variants of the Zenfone 2: the ZE551ML (both 2GB and 4GB versions) and the entry level ZE500CL. ASUS PH skipped the mid-range ZE550ML offering which had 2GB RAM and the HD display. This is definitely big news because we’re hoping that the reason why they skipped the ZE550ML is because they were able to figure out a way to lower the price of the flagship ZE551ML. ASUS PH already has a penchant for having the lowest Zenfone prices in the world, let’s hope they continue with that trend with the upcoming Zenfone 2.

- Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI
No word yet on the official SRP but we have a strong gut feeling that ASUS PH has a huge surprise up their sleeves. Let’s all cross our fingers folks and hope that they price the flagship competitively.
