DRAGON NEST: DARK SUMMONER’S SADISM PLEASURE

Dark Summoner’s Sadism Pleasure (SP) has been changed in the recent screamer class boost. Sieg of Freedom Dragon Nest guild investigates the details of the new effect.

Sadism Pleasure + Soul Gate Test

Stats: 2749 MDMG, 0% FD, 9% Dark

3856 / 1.09 * 1.175 = 4156.697
3856 / 1.09 * 1.175 * 1.085 (FD buff) = 4510 (Unknown variance)

Using Gate -> SP result

4572 / 1.175 * 1.26 = 4902 (Close enough)

If we calculate the variance, the increase in damage from the FD buff should be 1.1. I therefore conduct a further test

If we act on the assumption that the FD buff to Soul Gate is 10% instead of 8.5%

4904 / 1.1 * 1.2 = 5439

3856 / 1.09 * 1.345 * 1.3 = 6185.519

We can see that every layer of Sadism Pleasure is giving 10% FD to Soul Gate instead of the stated 8.5% (Level 6). What about the DS herself?

Level 6 Sadism Pleasure is giving 10% FD instead of 8.5% as stated in the skill description.

Test was repeated with Level 7 Sadism Pleasure. No 0.5% increase in FD noted.

Sadism Pleasure costs only the MP stated in its description to cast.The 5%+40000 is removed upon casting Sadism Pleasure.
The 5% is based on your max MP.

1:10 – 114541 MP
1:10 (Sadism Pleasure) – 113741
1:11 – 67928

Max MP is 116267. 0.05 * 116267 + 40000 = 45813.35
45813.35 + 67928 = 113741

Dark attack % works fine, double buffs summons.

FD% seems to be fixed at 10% regardless of level, unable to double buff summons, similar to Plates/Injector EX. Only applies on the summon, FD buffs on the summoner does not transfer to the summon.

In order to heal with Sadism Pleasure, refreshing the stack is insufficient. You need to let the buff run out and cast SP again.
